Over the past six years, Greater Lansing Area Clean Cities (GLACC) has been professionally managed by Kuntzsch Business Services, Inc. (KBS). KBS is a Grand Ledge, Michigan based consultancy that has incubated GLACC and helped the organization develop relationships and manage programs. Over these years, GLACC has established a strong regional voice that has positioned the organization in a place where it can be managed independently by its active Board of Directors, volunteers, and members.

School districts in Michigan have been under budgetary pressure for years, so it takes ingenuity to keep up with operational demands when resources are scarce. Over the past year, Greater Lansing Area Clean Cities (GLACC) has worked with Genesee Intermediate School District, Haslett Public Schools, Mason Public Schools, Waverly Community Schools, and Williamston Community Schools to replace aging school buses with new buses that deliver higher fuel economy and lower emissions.

Five School Districts to Receive Efficient School Buses Through EPA Supported Michigan Clean Diesel Collaborative

Greater Lansing Area Clean Cities (GLACC) will work with Genesee Intermediate School District, Haslett Public Schools, Mason Public Schools, Waverly Community Schools, and Williamston Community Schools throughout 2013 to replace aging school buses with new buses that deliver higher fuel economy and lower emissions. This project is part of the Michigan Clean Diesel Collaborative (MCDC) – an initiative that will replace and upgrade diesel vehicles in Lansing, Flint, and metro Detroit.
