Summer 2024 is coming to a close, with MI Clean Cities coalition members and stakeholders celebrating a lot of clean transportation activity. Let’s talk impact – participants in our annual survey will see their efforts reflected in the 2023 Annual Report published this month. The largest contributor in Michigan for reducing gas and diesel reliance is propane autogas (LPG) with 81% of reported gasoline gallon equivalent (GGE) reductions coming from that transportation fuel. This LPG usage translates to 34% of the greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) reductions attributed to MICC stakeholders, with 15% of GHG emissions reductions from electric (2023 usage data). Check out our Annual Report to review the impacts of a diversity of clean transportation approaches toward energy, economic, and environmental health. Click here.
